Raisinhead!

Please join us for a Memorial Day "Music in the Mountains" Weekend on Friday, May 28 and Saturday, May 29, at Full Moon Resort, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains Wilderness Preserve, just ˝ hour west of Woodstock, New York. Featured artists on Friday and Saturday include: Raisinhead, rising stars in the upstate New York jamband scene…and Townhall, an exciting new band from the Philadelphia area. Sunday will feature acoustic performances with other artists in the Café.

Full Moon is a newly founded "alternative" resort dedicated to the celebration of art and music in nature. The facility offers over one hundred pristine acres of mountains, fields and streams to wander and explore, comfortable country inn accommodations, campgrounds with restrooms and showers, a Café serving both traditional and vegetarian cuisine, art exhibits and the intimate, barn-like Performance Space and Bar, well-suited to two great evenings of shows on Friday and Saturday.

As an added attraction, Saturday afternoon will feature an informal acoustic jam session (interactive, and open to all!) with members of the various bands and friends under the Big Top on the grand front lawn. This very special weekend of music in the mountains also includes: Hikes to Giant Ledge with panoramic mountain views, swimming in the spring-fed pool, and late night acoustic jams around the campfire…bring instruments!

The Café at Full Moon will serve a sandwich/salad buffet on Friday evening, full country buffet breakfasts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; a special family BBQ on Saturday evening; and a dinner on Sunday evening - all at reasonable prices. All meals offer vegetarian options. Bar services are available at the Inn and the Performance Space throughout the weekend.

For campers, there will be a special one, two or three night "Camp and Show" packages, which include camping and the performances. Dining is priced separately. Kids get complimentary admission to the shows, and reduced rates for camping and meals.

For those interested in more comforts, country inn accommodations are available, with a two night minimum. Larger cottages and cabins are also available. Show admissions and dining are priced separately.
